How do you imagine minimal music composed by a bass player with a PhD thesis on music in twentieth-century prose? Zuzanna Ossowska (OS.SO) does it all! She's a composer, songwriter, producer, lyricist, and instrumentalist. Her main instrument is the bass guitar, but she also plays the piano, gamelan (Indonesian idiophones), drums, and sings.
As a full-time songwriter and producer, she has participated in many European songwriting and sync camps in cities such as Paris, Budapest, Riga, Berlin, and Warsaw, writing more than 200 songs for other artists.
Zuzanna moves smoothly between musical genres, combining a love of avant-garde sounds and mainstream. She has released two original albums, and is currently co-founding the duo MonoTony (neoclassical/minimal music) with leading Polish viola player Krzysztof Komendarek-Tymendorf.
She also writes poems, scripts, and directs music videos, combining her passion for literature and short film forms.
